Aha! The 2016 class schedule for local CCL sympto-thermal classes is now available!

We are pleased to be able to offer so many class series in the mid-Missouri area, and to have as many teachers as we do at present. Our reach does not always extend to the far corners, or may be as convenient in our current fast-paced society, but here is another aha!: the staff at CCL Central have been busily working on ways to improve this dilemma and will soon be rolling out a NEW self-paced online course. What a wonderful blessing! Now, couples will be able to complete the short training modules at their own convenience from wherever they are, and still receive the support of a live mentor teaching couple as well. Of course, we always recommend attending a live onsite class when possible as we believe it is the best way to learn, but this new course definitely meets a need for many couples today. A big shout of thanks to all those that have made this possible!

We are also proud to introduce our new logo. Isn’t it beautiful?

The old one served us well for over 40 years, and though it is hard to see it go, our new logo will hopefully usher us into a new phase of evangelization and outreach in an effort to build healthier lifestyles, marriages and families.

The new logo is rich in meaning: it depicts the heads and heart of a couple coming together in the beautiful marital embrace, their two unique colors blending in the middle to form new life represented by a third color. The circle in the middle also symbolizes an engagement ring, evoking the Sacrament of Marriage, and the new phrase is a call to couples to Live the Love of the vows spoken at the altar. I feel inspired every time I see it. Now, I need only use that inspiration as an impetus to action!

My apologies (yet again) for a long delay between posts. I have lately been called to focus my time and attention in other avenues, but never wonder if the collective “we” behind MidMoNFP are still here. We are.
